Life of Giacomo Puccini
Giacomo Puccini was born on December 22, 1858 in Lucca, Italy and die on November 29, 1909. He was born in a family which was recognized because of the music. Among the best operatic of 19th and 20th century, he stands at the top from his work which made him to be a big celebrity. Giacomo Puccini never enjoyed his fathers’ parenthood care because his father passed when he was just five years old. The death of his father made him to stay with Fortunato Magi who was his uncle and a great teacher in the music industry. During the study Giacomo Puccini never performed well and this made his uncle to see him as a failure and students who was not teacher and also his manners were not pleasing at all. Giacomo Puccini was inspired by Verdi’s Aida who was a great opera composer in the church. Before Giacomo Puccini joined the organization of opera composing, he used to act as an organist in the church, (Puccini, 2010).
In the year 1880, Giacomo Puccini released his first work known as Messa di Gloria and then he was only 22 years old. During this time he was much focused in his work and made some several stage performances which gave him recognition. His career as an operatic was realized during a dialogue which he conducted y Requiem. With the help of Bazzini and Ponchielli, Giacomo Puccini was in a position to pursue his studies in Milan Conservatory between the year 1880 and 1883. The first opera competition in the year 1882 never gave him good results because he was not able to emerge as a winner but that never made him to quit. This acted as motivator which is not common to most of people who go for competition, (Michele, 2002).
Giacomo Puccini worked with some of opera winners who made his work to become more and more admirable. Manon Lescaut was among the opera that worked with Giacomo Puccini and inspired him on his work. One of the admirable opera works of Giacomo Puccini was la boheme which brought some romantic feelings among many who saw his work. Tosca was the opera which came after la boheme but initially did not yield better results but after some times it become on of the best work which made him a star in the field of opera composition. His work never become pleasing after his third opera and after that in the year 1903 he was involved in a vehicle accident. His wife committed suicide in the year 1906 when there was an issue that the maid was having some affair with Giacomo Puccini, (Michele, 2002).
Giacomo Puccini died in the year 1924 due to a throat problem and it was a time when he wanted to release Turandot opera. Le villi were the first opera to be released by Giacomo Puccini in May 31, 1884. This opera was released in four different versions. The whole story of this opera was revolving around Les Willis which was written by Fontana. La fanciulla Del west was another great opera which made Giacomo famous although he never stayed long before he died. It was one of the greatest opera because it was acted in three stages which is said to be the best, (Puccini, 2010).
